Save the Music!

Monte Vista Elementary Music and Arts Fundraiser

As you Californians are aware of, the funding for our public schools has been drastically reduced over the past several years.  As the funding decreases, the first programs to get axed are always Music and Arts.  This is not OK with us, here at CCB!!!  If the state doesn't value the importance of the arts, we are going to make it our mission to make sure our community does!!

Every school is suffering from this, but we can only start our fight by helping one school at a time.  This year, we are going to save the music program at Monte Vista Elementary with the help of our awesome fans!!  On April 6th, the students will be running a Jog-a-Thon to attract pledges of donation to the music and arts program.  We would like to invite you to help out with flat donations here.  Every single penny goes straight to the cause.  Please help with a $25, $10, or even $5 or $1 if it's all you can give.  Everything will help.  We'll keep you posted on the progress along the way.

Our total goal is $15,000.  Let's SAVE THE MUSIC!!!!!

San Marcos Summer Concerts in the Park
Friday September 7th, 6:30 - 

An outdoor concert at Wood House Gardens in Woodland Park in San Marcos. With BBQ from Phil's BBQ. Tickets and more info.



North County Times Reader's Choice Survey

Clay Colton Band has made it onto San Diego based newspaper the North County Times annual Reader's Choice Survey.

Readers of the North County Times Newspaper were surveyed on there favorite local band.

Seven bands are listed. Including national acts Blink-182 and Switchfoot.
